Dear 12 metre sailors and friends of the class! In July 2008 the Robbe & Berking 12 Metre World Championship for classic twelves will be held in Glücksburg, arranged by the Flensburger Segel Club (www.fsc.de) in cooperation with the International Twelve Metre Association (ITMA). We are pleased to invite you to this event. Robbe & Berking and the FSC are known for the metre class races they arrange once a year since 1995. 8 Twelves came in 2002, 18 Eights in 2005 and 29 Sixes in 2006. Every year many of the Northern European Twelves meet in Flensburg for the Robbe & Berking 12mR Sterling Cup and for 2008 we expect the biggest fleet of Twelves that has ever sailed together in the Baltics. The notice of race and all further information will be send to you in October.
